Thomas H. Few, "TFew" as he was known to most who knew and loved him dearly, grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. Thomas loved sports, hunting, and any opportunity to build or make something, such as a 14-foot wood boat, or one of his infamous TFew coffee tables made from scrap wood pallets. He cherished time with his family and friends. After graduating from A.C Flora High School in 2017, Thomas attended Clemson University, where he eagerly and passionately pursued a degree in a subject he loved, Construction Science Management ("CSM"). Thomas would often tell his parents and others, "I am going to build my parents a house when I graduate from college!" TFew's infectious joy, enthusiasm, generosity and kindness will never be forgotten. His big smile and personality was contagious! Thomas would comfort a friend with any personal troubles, and if you knew him, you knew you were genuinely loved and cared for. TFew had friends far and wide, always having their backs. He often introduced you to everyone he knew as "my friend." In Thomas's words, if you were his friend, you were "a beast," and that's how he would introduce you to others. Thomas was an active member of Shandon United Methodist Church in Columbia, South Carolina, including Sunday School, Confirmation, Youth Mission Project, acolyting, basketball, and Troop 37 where he became an Eagle Scout. Once the family moved to Greenville in 2017, Thomas attended Buncombe Street Methodist Church. He loved meeting new people and would often approach a stranger and strike up a conversation, even at church.Thomas knew his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and he treated everyone as a fellow Child of God.Thomas loved his Clemson Tigers! He also loved his Gamecock friends so much that he would regularly attend Carolina football games just to spend time with them, spreading his usual good cheer. In fact, Thomas's first scrap pallet coffee table had a "detailed" Gamecock logo on it because he loved his friends, even if they pulled for the wrong team. The joy of being with Thomas is a blessing that we miss terribly every day, but we'll never forget. He is forever and always in and hearts and so are the many memories. TFew's life and his legacy is remembered in many ways, including the Thomas H. Few H2O House at the Frazee Center on Hwy 81, his memorial scholarship at Clemson for CSM students, his remembrance in the Clemson University's Cadden Chapel, the TFew white cross which is seen at off campus housing in Clemson, the annual Thomas H Few (KA) memorial fundraiser benefiting Clemson Life and Camp Cole, The annual KA TFew Spring Cookout benefitting his scholarship, and the day that many describe as the "BEST day of the year," the Annual TFew Memorial Golf Tournament at The Preserve at Verdae, held the Friday after Labor Day.Thomas would often say, "The best is yet to come", so we will live a life of gratitude and hope for a brighter tomorrow!Until we see TFew again, press on and make your light shine!
